Terms of use

The service is operated by ReactionLens, under the law of the State of Delaware, USA.

Accounts are not open during the beta; the parts of these terms about accounts, workspaces and allowances apply once they are.

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. When they change, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and a significant change is announced on the site before it takes effect. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. The operator can suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, and ends it for the misuse described under Safety screening.

Records marked verified come from indexed sources and carry their citation. Candidate outcomes, enumerated analogues and computed values are labelled as what they are: a candidate is not a result, a score measures precedent rather than probability, and a calculation reports the method and software version that produced it.

Nothing here is a substitute for a chemist’s judgement or for doing the experiment. Do not run a reaction because the platform proposed it.

Every structure you submit is screened before any engine runs. Some structures are refused outright; others are reported as an elevated structural alert with the reason. The screening is a safeguard, not a legal clearance, and it does not tell you what is lawful to possess or make where you are — that is yours to establish.

Attempting to use the platform to plan something you are not permitted to make ends your access.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Members of a workspace can see everything in it.

Each workspace has a monthly allowance, shown under Plans and enforced by the platform. Nothing on this deployment takes payment.

The service is free during the public beta. If paid plans are introduced, notice will be given before any charge applies, and nothing is charged without your explicit agreement to a paid plan.

What you put in remains yours. You allow the operator to store, process and display it as far as is needed to run the service, including showing the molecules and reactions you enter to other users as part of the shared record described under Privacy. Your projects, calculations and the rest of your work stay within your workspace.

Do not enter chemistry you need to keep confidential. Nothing you put in is sold, and none of it is used to train the platform’s models.

Records shown here carry the licence of the source they came from, and that licence travels with the data.

The service is provided as it is, during a public beta, without any guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. What it proposes is a starting point for your own judgement, as set out under What the platform does and does not claim.

As far as the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss arising from your use of the service or from relying on what it shows. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot lawfully be limited. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes go to the courts there.
